South Legon Apartment Design Competition

S. Tetteh + Associates’ scheme for the design competition organised through the Architects Registration Council has been adjudged the winning entry. The  proposal features two residential towers on a podium that houses retail space, support facilities for residents and a roof garden. A twist in the mid-section of each tower varies views from the residences’ generous balconies and adds interest to the form. The buildings are clad in a distinctive perforated screen with tree-shaped motifs that reference the site’s current sylvan nature. Beautiful landscaping, the roof garden and facade planting strengthens this link and creates a serene ambience.
